BU16 Red, coached by Mike and Tony Macchione, won 1st Place in the Nike Crossfire Challenge, one of the top tournaments in the NW, that took place in July at 60 acres park. Great success for not only the club, but for Vancouver. 

Our back line of Tyler Shadix, Brandon Vega, Phillip Tran and Tanner Konkright virtually held the team from being scored on (only goal against us during all 5 games was a  PK against Crossfire). Taylor Brown, our guest keeper, also contributed with some great saves. All of the boys on the team got play time over the weekend and contributed to our team's big success.  

We beat top teams in the state this weekend: Crossfire 2-1, Tynecastle 2-0, Red Deer Renegades (Canada) 3-0,

Semis: Washington Premier - went into OT and then WON in PK's,

Finals: Westsound went into OT and the boys won in PK's.
